11/4/2018 - My daughters and I toured El Salvador with Roberto Marroquin. As soon as he picked us up from the airport, Roberto immediately proceeded to indulge us on a brief but detailed history of El Salvador. He delivered this information in a way that would later make seeing certain landmarks and historical monuments even more powerful and meaningful. Roberto's knowledge, experience and passion for his country truly makes this tour exceptional. We highly recommend Roberto for your tour needs!

If you have one free day I highly suggest this trip. I had the chance to see all the Mayan ruins/sites within the San Salvador area. It was also a great introduction to see El Salvador's second city, Santa Ana. Roberto introduced me to a friend Carlo (a student of archaeology) who did a VERY excellent job of explaining the Mayan history of El Salvador and the current excavation duties by archaeologists from all over. Make sure you leave time to visit the museum of archaeology in San Salvador downtown.

This was a very exciting tour. Roberto did an excellent job. I suggest everyone to do this tour (when in transit or when you visit for the first time). Roberto did a perfect introduction of this wonderful capital city to me. The city was wonderful. Roberto did a great job explaining the history and the future progress of the country. What I also enjoyed is that he was able to introduce to me the food of El Salvador!!! I suggest you ask him about the food! it's very delicious and a good price!

This review is about Ruta de Flores: At the last minute, we changed our plans, so we ended up doing Ruta de las Flores instead of the Volcano. The towns are very attractive, and the landscape is pleasant. We had a wonderful lunch at El Jardin de Celeste -- lovely setting and good food. Roberto is a fun guide -- great sense of humor.

Interesting tour ... Joya de Ceren is particularly unique among Mayan sites in Central America and definitely worth visiting. Roberto shared with us different interpretations of the structures and sites, which is always good to hear. If I had to select only two sites, I would chose Joya de Ceren and San Andres..

Although we were only with Roberto a very short time, he was outstanding. I only wish we would have had more time to tour El Salvador with him.

Roberto was a wonderful guide! My friend and I had so much fun learning from him about El Salvador and we had so much fun being shown different places in and around San Salvador. Roberto is easy going and I'm happy to recommend him to others looking for a guide in El Salvador.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you Henry, was a pleasure to meet you.
