Tour: #201325, One day tour - Prehistory Cave Art - Dordogne, Sarlat, France    view tour
Date: Sep 26/16

We visited Dordogne because we were interested in the prehistoric cave paintings found in that area. Ann was the perfect guide for our exploration of the caves because she was very knowledgeable about prehistory, had worked as a guide at the caves and had a fine arts background. She was very easy-going and personable. We would recommend her to others interested in exploring prehistoric art.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Nancy Thank you for your recommendation. It was a real pleasure to meet you both and share some of the prehistoric treasures of this region with you. I hope you have returned home rested and refreshed. Ann

Ann is very knowledgable and passionate about the pre- history of the region. She is personable and easy to talk to. She made our time in the region enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend her as a guide.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you for your lovely recommendation. It was good to meet you all and to be able to show you some of the wonderful sites of the region. I have a fond memory of the lunch under the plane tree, in a setting that was like something from a Renoir film.

Tour: #181740, Sarlat, chateaux and landscaped gardens - Dordogne., Sarlat, France    view tour
Date: Jun 9/16

Ann was a wonderful resource person and guide to the Dordogne region. We wanted a leisurely itinerary that would include visits to the most noteworthy caves, some of the many chateaus and and outstanding gardens and time to stroll through some of the picturesque villages and markets. We especially emphasized wanting to have leisurely lunches at interesting inns and restaurants. We were not disappointed. In over thirty years of overseas travel, Ann has to rank as one of the best guides we have had.

Tour: #185072, 2 day - Prehistory Cave Art and Exploring of Chateau Milandes and picturesque local towns and villages, Sarlat, France    view tour
Date: Jun 7/16

Ann was a wonderful resource person and guide to the Dordogne region. In the weeks leading up to the trip, she checked out local hotels for us and at both ends of the journey she helped us navigate the chaos created by rail and airline pilot strikes. We wanted a leisurely itinerary that would include visits to the most noteworthy caves, some of the many chateaus and outstanding gardens and time to stroll through some of the picturesque villages and markets. We were not disappointed.

Tour: #226297, Medievale Castles and a Hidden Prehistoric Cave Art, Sarlat-la-Caneda, France    view tour
Date: Mar 22/16

After exchanging a couple of e-mails with Ann, she was able to put together a tour exactly to my specifications. Upon meeting Ann, I felt very at ease with her as a tour guide. Ann acted as a step on tour guide for me and a friend visiting the region. The tour was exactly as described. As she was acting as a step-on tour guide, we had a lot of time to get to know one another between traveling to various sites. Ann was definitely a blast and would book her again!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks for the review Marshall and your lovely description. It was great to meet you both!
