Alois is a fantastic tour guide. She is very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond by not only giving us an excellent tour of many varied and interesting places in Le Marais, but also providing us with helpful itinerary suggestions for our other 2 days in Paris. We have used other tour guides and found that Alois provided a level of care and service well beyond any we have experienced before. We highly recommend her tours.

Alois tirelessly walked us through the major highlights of central Paris and helped us to feel well oriented so that we appreciated and understood our surroundings. She especially came to life around the shops and shared her own taste and perspective. She did an excellent job of transmitting her love of Paris.

This was a fun tour! My teenaged granddaughters were enchanted by this guide, and the shops she took us to. We all managed to buy something! We shopped fashion to food! Thank you Alois!

Alois is amazing. She constructed a specialized Parisian neighborhoods tour in August that met my wants and needs. It was planned and executed perfectly. Her knowledge of Parisian neighborhoods is robust and the tour was very informative and entertaining. I highly recommend Alois.

The tour was perfect. Our guide knew everything about Marais and was friendly and efficient m. Who could ask for more?
Aloïs was so great! We had a small group including a 6-year old child and she made sure everyone was included and participating in the tour. We loved hearing about the past and present of the village and even getting local tips to further enjoy our stay. Highly recommend this wonderful local guide!

Alois what adorable! She took us on a walking tour from our hotel to the Eiffel Tower. She gave us great recommendations for dinner by our hotel, told us some do's and don't when in Paris. She is so cute, stylish and was patient. Recommend her if it is your first time in Paris to show you all the "must see" you have to do when you come to Paris.

Alois took us through nooks and crannies of Paris and special photo opportunities that you would never find on your own. She was very considerate if you needed to slow down, do a little shopping or any request you may have. She even made restaurant reservations for us for the evening! Be prepared to walk 8-10 kilometers and wear a good pair of shoes

Alois led a private shopping tour for our twin 14 year old girls and it was fantastic! The girls loved her and she took them to places we would never have found. We went to approximately 8 stores on the tour and bought something from each (which speaks to what a great job Alois did of curating the tour, as the girls are picky). I think Alois would be a fantastic choice for any tour, as she is an excellent communicator and speaks perfect English - you'll be glad you chose her, she's wonderful!

Very nice tour that Alois improvised on the fly due to rain showers-covered a lot of ground and we feel much more knowledgeable. We recommend this tour!

Our guide, Alois was knowledgeable and professional. She was able to show us the things we had requested to see and more! We also had a brief lesson in taking the Metro making it possible to get around easier for the remainder of our stay in Paris.

We had an 8 hour layover in Paris and decided to leave the airport and see some sights. Our time was very early in the morning and many guides declined, but Alois was very kind to get up early for us. Having such a short time to stay we though we would be better off with a guide and Alois did not disappoint. While we didn't have the opportunity to go inside anywhere, we were able to see so many places and get a quick glimpse of Paris life. If you have 8 or more hours it's totally worth it!

The private walking tour suited our needs. Only planning to tour the city for one full day, the walking tour by Alois was a perfect prep for our entire day. The fact we saw so many interesting locations only a local guide can provide was perfect. Plus I found the private tour more productive over large group tours which are more hectic (hurry up to line up to a bus). I would highly recommend this tour and expert guide.
Excellent guide! We were a large group, everyone very satisfied with our walk in this beautiful village in the middle of Paris. Aloïs showed us parts of Montmartre we had never seen, providing both insight and humour during our walk. Thanks!

Alois is informative, personable, and never runs out of energy. We were a group of two families and she appealed to all participants. Well done! I highly recommend Alois.
Perfect way to get a general overview of Monmartre in a very limited time.

pleasant, knowledgeable and well prepared. Gave us a good start to staying in the Marais. Alois was very flexible with a short notice request for a tour. She helped my nieces with some great vintage clothing shop suggestions.

Aloïs was a very competent and friendly guide through Paris. She was very good with the challenge of having a 5-year-old child in the group of 3 - even though it was sometimes rather unusual for her. Her German language skills are good and we were able to follow her comments wonderfully. I would book Aloïs again on my next visit to Paris.

Alois was the most amazing tour guide. She was so educated and professional. We felt like we already knew her before our trip. Can't wait to visit Paris and see her again and have another tour of such an amazing place.

Aloïs arranged a tour at very late notice in which we wanted to cover as much of Paris as possible in under 3 hours. She rose to this task admirably, and we saw a side of the city I doubt we would have found on our own!

Aloïs took me off the beaten path to visit the Le Marais neighborhood and showed me what a non-tourist day would be like in Paris. It was phenomenal! She has an incredible knowledge of the neighborhood and its history, food markets and fashion. Highlights were clothes shopping using her great sense of style as a guide, and visiting the Marché d'Aligre Beauvau farmer's market to see the great produce and food there. It was an inspiring day in Le Marais, thanks to her!

We had a very nice, full day tour. Our guide, Alois, was a delightful young woman, professional and very knowledgeable when it comes to French history. Alois met us at us at our hotel in the 8th arr., from there we walked the city, seeing all of the major sites. After lunch, we even took a bus to the Montmartre area of the city. We really felt we had seen the "best of Paris" and appreciated Alois' guidance and advice on what to see the next day on our stay in Paris.

Aloïs took us all over the Marais to all kinds of shops: clothing, tea, chocolate, antiques, home goods. It was fun seeing and learning about the area. We also learned the history of some of the shops.
