We enjoyed our Milan tour with Barbara. She was able to show us things that we would not have found -like tributes to boxing on the Duomo or Versace's home. She is very knowledgeable and her love of Milan shows. Tour and information about designers was a big hit with our 24 yr old daughter. Highly recommend.

The Monumental Cementery tour was given a 3 * because it was mostly geared to local personalities with not a wide international flair. tour guide was puntual to the visit in spite of the cold rain.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Estimado Antonio, Thank you for taking your time to write to me. Your comment is very critical and frankly unexpected. During the private tour I talked about Caravaggio, Giuseppe Verdi, Alessandro Manzoni, Davide Campari, Hermann Einstein, Arturo Toscanini, the Bocconi family, Versace, Pavarotti, Vladimir Horowitz, etc... and I honestly would not consider them without international flair! I feel quite sorry if I didn't live up to your expectations. It was nice to meet you both. Best regards, Barbara

Barbara was our tour guide a second day in Milan where she showed us the art/history side of Milan. Leonardo da Vinci's vineyard was a delight to see -- such history! The Last Supper was superb and our viewing went off without a hitch. She was excellent at navigating the crowds to ensure we saw everything from the rail and was an excellent picture taker! Barbara finished off our tour with a suggestion for lunch and even called to make reservations. Thank you, Barbara, for a wonderful time in Milan!

Barbara was a great guide. She knows Milan like the back of her hand. We walked to all the "must sees", even in the rain! Her tour of the Duomo was spot on, making sure we saw all the sights on the roof and inside. There was't a question she couldn't answer! And, as we are very inquisitive, she was very patient with all of our many questions. I would not hesitate to use Barbara again -- especially for another Hidden Places of Milan tour she mentioned.

Barbara was great! We had a lovely day with her! She was very flexible and was happy to customize our tour to accommodate everyone's interests. Right down to how and where to find the best gelato. She took us to very nice and tasty authentic, historical restaurant for lunch as well as showed us some out of the way hidden gems of Milan. I would definitely pick Barbara again for any tours I would do in Milan.

Great tour. We had asked Barbara to show us places that are "must sees" that don't appear in guide books and she did a great job! We still enjoy pictures of the turtle! Pace of the tour was perfect and her knowledge is outstanding--art, history, architecture and culture.

Barbara was knowledgeable, friendly. We loved our time with her.
a very informative tour of Milan although a very unpleasant underground train ride for some of us when experiencing pick pocketing by local gypsies on the train. although we were provided with earphones i recommend 2 earphones ( stereo) instead of one , there was a lot of interference from traffic and other tourists nearby. was not aware the duomo area has so much to see and has such a wealth of history around it, roof visit a definite experience one must do.

Barbara provided our family with a first class tour of Milano, and we never could have learned so much about this special city without her expertise. We cannot more highly recommend her as a tour guide to this great city. We also appreciated that Barbara embraced the faith tradition of the cathedrals and churches that we visited. As practicing Catholics, it was refreshing to have a guide who was so well versed in the faith as we toured such historical and holy grounds. What a wonderful day!

Barbara is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. We learned a lot of Milanese history as well as had the shot to see local and more current landmarks as well! Thanks!
An amazing tour of hidden Milan. We requested the real Milan, and Barbara certainly delivered as much as possible in one day ! Courtyards, gardens, gelato, university graduation celebrations, churches, fashion, coffee, history, funny stories, art, food, and the friendly turtle. An observation of a remarkable city from within, rather than the monocular tourist view. Fabulous day!

Barbara was fantastic! We had a six and a half hour private tour and I was hoping our personalities would mesh because that's a long time otherwise! Despite cloudy skies and some rain, our tour was Barbara was just perfect. She managed to get us to the Duomo roofs and gave us a bit of a foodie tour and managed to score tickets to see Da Vinci's Last Supper. It was a perfect day! All boxes ticked! When we get back to Milan, Barbara will be our guide again!

The explanation of the Last supper was great. However, we had wanted to see other Lenardo Di Vinci inventions. This is not what the tour turned out to be. It was hard to hear all of the explanations because she did not use a headset like on our other tour. Was surprised that the fee to the places we visited was not included with the fee of the tour.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you for taking your time to write to me. It was your decision not to visit the Leonardo da Vinci's works of art in the Ambrosiana and in the Falcon Tower I had scheduled and the cost of them was specified in "what's extra". The use of the radio system isn't advised for just 7 people because the places to visit are quiet. I believe the extraordinary heat of that day (93° F) and the fact that just half of your family was used to walking, affected your decision. It was nice meeting you and your family.
