Alessandro was extremely knowledgeable of everything in Bari and was a pleasure to have as our guide. I would certainly recommend him to others.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Eitan, it's been a pleasure to spend a few hours with you. There is still lots of place to visit in Puglia ... thus I'll be waiting for you for another wine and cultural tour.

We went on a wonderful wine tasting tour, farmhouse lunch, and had a personal tour of one of the ceramic production facilities, and other ceramic shops in Grottaglie. Alessandro is a wonderful Sommelier, and so knowledgeable. He really goes above and beyond with other recommendations for restaurants and shopping and touring on our own time. He really made our vacation great!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: I'm glad you appreciated my efforts to make your vacation a great one. Negroamaro and Primitivo di Manduria wine area are so interesting. The visit of the ceramic city of Grottaglie is complete with the production facilities ... I hope we will manage to wake up the passion for ceramics of Mary thus I'm waiting to recieve a photo with the her new ceramic creation :-)

Really enjoyed our day long tour with Alessandro. He took us to an interesting variety of vineyards, and an olive oil producer. The tour was very informative and personal, with some tasty food along the way. Alessandro was great company and very knowledgeable and tailored the tour for us. We'd recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about the wines of the area and have an excellent day out.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Rhodri, thanks a lot for your feedback. It's a very tasty and interesting tour that one: a winemaker with his natural (without any selected yeast) wines, a boutique one in the area of Negroamaro, a family run one with excellent Primitivo di Manduria, a passionate producer of extra virgin olive oil. ... I'm still enjoing the flavours and parfums

Alessandro was very knowledgeable. He was fun to be around. At the end of the tour he even offered ( and he did) carry several of the packages we purchased from our drop off spot to our residence which was about 1/4 of a mile away. I recommend him highly.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Joe, it has been a pleasure to meet you and to taste some wine and extra virgin olive oil. Even if lots of wineries weren't abaillable because of they were busy at the vinitaly trade fair, we enjoied the wine area of the Negroaamaro and the Primitivo di Manduria one ... and the visit to the 96 years old vineyard is always unique. I enjoied a lot the day and I make a virtual toast with you.

Fantastic tour! Alessandro helped us put together a custom tour of wineries in the Salento / Lecce area, including arranging directly with the owners to open specially for us. He was extremely knowledgeable in giving us detailed information both about the history of the region and wine making in general. I would thoroughly recommend him.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks Matt. I really enjoied the day spent together and the Negramaro flavour icecream. I will wait for you to a Primitivo di Manduria tour, for a Locorotondo, etc. Please, say hallo to your friends for me.
