Newell WardeUnited States
Stefan Helgi gave my wife, son and me a great bicycle tour of the city. His command of American English is outstandingly good, and we appreciated that he took note of our interests, responded knowledgeably to every one of them, and did not waste time taking us to the obvious sites that we could easily find on our own. He also gave us some very important tips for a few places elsewhere in Iceland (near Vik, for example) that we visited later in our trip and were very glad we did!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you Newell, it was a great pleasure! You have a wonderful family.

It was a good but not a great tour. The weather was great but we seemed to go to some odd places and spend a lot of time there. Stefan's english is very good and it may be that there is just not a lot to see in Reykjavik !
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Sorry David that you did not enjoy the bike tour with me 100 percent. True, Reykjavik is not quite London or Rome in terms of sights and historical importance. I aim to introduce Reykjavik from the local person's perspective, to visit some obvious places but tell the stories that bring those places to life. Private bike tours can always be adjusted to the ability and interest of the riders. Wish I had known how you felt because It would have been easy to adjust the route, the pace and content.
Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and a good sense of humour. Stephan showed us the highlights his Rekjavik for a memorable tour
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you James, I appreciate your positive comments :-) I love showing people around my home city Reykjavik, especially on a bicycle.
