Sometimes the very best, at other times the absolute worst.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you Alan and Margo. I know long tours and long driving tours can take a toll on us. I really appreciate your patience and enthusiasm during all the tours. My apologizes if I came off as the worst at times. It was not deliberate at all. Wish you and Margo all the best, Reza.

Travel with Reza a grand adventure! In-home visits with strangers we meet, off-road explorations, roadside tea-time a happy must! No request too trivial or difficult. (Reza easily got me into women's side of Mashhad Shrine when all travel books said "impossible.") Be careful what you ask about; he won't let it go! Reza takes you into Iranian daily life and practice and does it with gusto! No quiet retreat with him. Reza loves and recites Persian poetry. An extrovert-- he kisses camels. Lots of fun!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks and many thanks to you lovely couple for all the kindness you did toward me.
I set out to get to know Iran and its peoples, Reza helped me achieve this while saving me a lot of money at the same time. We crossed Iran, through deserts and icy mountain roads and he was adequately prepared to deal with any situation we found ourselves in, I cannot recall being concerned at any time throughout the duration of the trip. Being with the man himself was an experience, he makes for excellent company. He is also dedicated and will make your trip an exhilarating experience. Thank you Reza.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you David. I am so happy for the fulfilment of such a dreamy self planned tour. In fact it was made by the perfect mutual cooperation and patience too and the highlight of the tour, by my opinion was completing visits to the historic Forts/Castles of Alamut, Roud Khan and Babak in north provinces, the latter in late winter weather conditions. Say my hello to your family and all Maltese too!
This was a self-planned tour, and so gave plenty of possibility for exploring off the beaten track. Reza was a great guide, knowledgeable and open. He was really flexible about our itinerary, but still made sure that we covered the places and issues that he knew would be interesting to me. We drove for thousands of kilometres, ate many picnics. It opened a wonderful window into the unique Iranian culture by being able to stay with local families and seeing their lives up close. Highly Recommeded
