We had a great morning. We loved the coffee farm and all of the information Roland shared. Roland is a great tour guide and we really enjoyed stopping for local food and fruit as we drove through the countryside. The morning flew by. Thank you

Roland, a native Hawaiian, is a first class, private tour guide. We wanted to hear his perspective on the history of Oahu/Hawaii. Prior to our tour, we were in contact via emails and phone. The day of our tour we were picked up at the appointed time and given a printed itinerary. We saw sights in Honolulu, the Pali Lookout, toured the Iolani Palace, and had the best shave ice! It was very enjoyable and informative having Roland share his knowledge of and passion for his homeland with us. Mahalo, Roland!

Roland is extremely knowledgeable about Hawaiian history and it's implications to the present. His presentation was dynamic and clear. He brought the facts to life. He was extremely accommodating and genuinely concerned for our comfort and satisfaction. Taking this tour with Roland was a rewarding educational and enjoyable experience.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you very much for your review of our day together. I'm humbled by your kind remarks, and appreciate the opportunity to share this aspect of Hawaii with you. Mahalo, Roland

Roland's tour gave us a whole insight to Hawaii that other cruise guests did not have the opportunity to experience. The history of Hawaii, the palace, and Roland's obvious love for the islands made this experience one that we'll never forget.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you for your kind review. I'm thrilled that you had an experience you'll never forget - that's precisely what I hope for every guest we have the opportunity to host.

We recently hired Roland as our personal guide on a tour of Honolulu. It was a historic tour from the beginning settlement of the islands to present day. Roland was very interesting and informative with his knowledge of the islands. He took us to some of the out of the way places, especially when we went to the shaved ice stand and the Koa jewelry store. We were very pleased with his knowledge, friendly manner and his willingness to share sites with us. His tour is a 5+ and we highly recommend it.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Mahalo for your kind remarks, Barbara. It was my pleasure to our island home and its history wth you and your husband. Come back soon!

Hands down best part of our 1st Hawaii trip. Husband and I wanted "real" HI history, not a "big box" superficial, inflexible tour with gang of others. Guide Roland was extremely knowledgeable as well as passionate about & deeply connected to HI. I learned so so much, not all of it "pretty" like the landscape, but gained a deep respect for HI and its people. Roland was friendly, competent, patient, flexible -- a Renaissance man. Tour was relaxed & fun, yet intensely enlightening. Perfect day for us.
