Anna was very informative and articulate and her manner was warm, open and humorous. She helped place the Jewish history of Kiev into the larger context of the general history of the city, including the delicate topic of the sometimes tense relations of Jews with others in Kiev, such as Cossacks. We had a six-hour walking tour supplemented by metro and trolley car, beginning in Podol Square district and ending at Babi Yar. I was not bored for one minute and feel I learned a huge amount about Kiev.
