We were very fortunate to have found Barry on your website to take our group on a tour of Toronto. He was everything you would expect a tour guide to be: knowledgeable, humorous, patient and passionate about Toronto. We will be back again next year and told him to expect us to use him again to guide us through Toronto.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: It was a pleasure to host the Tour of Toronto on foot and via your chartered coach. Your college basketball team was indeed fortunate to gain an inside look at the practice facility of the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association. The coaches and players were truly engaged with the operations and issues of Canada's largest city. I look forward to your visit next October.

Barry was a delightful guide for our group of 35 people, most of whom were visiting Toronto for the first time. He made the arrangements for our bus and driver which was especially helpful. Our day long tour was perfect with the right amount of walking and visiting venues and observing the city from the bus. He was flexible to accommodate our special requests and gave good advice when questioned about ordering tickets in advance. His overall knowledge of Toronto's history was very educational.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: What a "packed program"! It was a terrific day -- 13 hours of focused activities. We were able to capitalize on your convention themes with a special guided tour of historic Allan Gardens and then a visit to a boutique floral shop profiling arrangements and displays. We were pleased to provide bus service to your restaurant venues for all 3-meals. We even had time to enjoy a CN Tower experience on a brisk winter day!, This was a fine customized wrap-up to your 5-days in Toronto. Barry

Very knowledgeable Loves his city and hockey Very energetic
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Perfect candidates for a private walking tour. We were surprised by a "movie shoot" on University Avenue. An unexpected visit to a craft beer festival. The excitement and pulse of 45 000 baseball fans descending on the Rogers Centre. Enjoyable street interactions with visitors from Quebec and a " hockey mad" family parading the colours of the Maple Leafs.Experienced the subway and tram network to return to your hotel. Glad you enjoyed the unique approach to explore Toronto.

Few know Toronto better than Barry. Flexible with bad weather as well.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: It was indeed a pleasure to impart both information and some entertainment to your group of 9-family members in the face of very challenging winter conditions.

Barry was an ideal guide when I had a flight layover in Toronto. I was a little concerned because he didn't pick me up at the airport, but the express train from the airport to Union Station made it very easy to connect with him. For the next few hours he walked me all over downtown Toronto, with stories of its recent and older history. He even included underground Toronto, which I found very interesting. Excellent if, like me, you have a layover, or as introduction to a longer stay.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: You are both an energetic traveller and an enthusiastic observer of the urban scene. Your comments and questions clearly reflect your desire to step beyond the standard practice of utilizing "mass sightseeing" on large tour coaches. The new Pearson / Union Station rail service saves hours of time and cost --- and the connection is user friendly and easy to complete. Thanks for a grand day of city exploration with "your feet on the street".

Because of the rain, we chose not to get out of the car often; instead, as we drove around the city, Barry would give us the history and highlights of each area and building that we saw. His knowledge of Toronto is vast, so we felt that we really learned a great deal about Toronto - we look forward to returning and spending more time there. We both would highly recommend Barry for any visitor to Toronto. His ease of conversation and his vast knowledge made for a perfect introduction to your beautiful city
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: I was pleased to meet your Great Lakes tour boat and then provide a private / personalized Tour of Toronto during your layover time before driving you 25 km to Toronto Pearson Airport for your flight home to Florida. This was a brilliant way to spend time productively without dragging heavy luggage and shuffling around for hours in an airline terminal. It was a good way to cap your 12 days on the lakes -- an opportunity to visit and experience Canada's largest metropolis.

We enjoyed our walking tour of Toronto with Barry. It was very clear to us how knowledgeable and proud he is of his hometown of Toronto. I would recommend taking this walking tour with Barry.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: It was wonderful to meet such interesting and engaged first time visitors to Toronto. Your comments and questions attest to your interest in "the workings" of Canada's primate city.

Very enjoyable and useful as we would not have found half the places Barry took us to in the short time we are in Toronto. He was knowledgable and easy to get on with.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: I very much appreciate your remarks. The three of us made for an easy and an appropriate exchange of relevant information. What a difference to an aimless bus tour with a random list of buildings and sites! More and more travellers are discovering the advantages of tours with "your feet on the street" accompanied by an informed personal guide.
Barry is a remarkably patient and understanding guide. No doubt his teaching career has helped him to empathise with visitors of all nationalities better. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend it to anyone.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: It was a delight to spend two days with your family. Your interest and energy was very evident and made it possible to accommodate so many points of interest at more than a superficial level!
