Perfect day! Can't say no more. We went on a special tour just for me. Old Tokyo Neighbourhood. And the new and upcoming designers quarters. We finished the beautiful day at a special saké bar. Awesome all the way.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Fatti, thank you very much for taking my tours for five days in total! As time went by, I felt as if you are my true aunt and it was a great fun to explore Tokyo with you based on your requests. You are such an eye-opener in many senses and I already miss you so much! Please, please come to Tokyo again!! I'll keep exploring and find a lot more interesting, exciting, and fun spots to show you.

Date: Apr 25/18

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Fatti, thanks for the 5 stars. As you left this blank, I'll write down what we did on this afternoon. We had very nice Japanese soba. Then you suddenly said you want to go to the cat cafe and we both enjoyed SO much! Then we had tea at a hidden tea house. It was very spontaneous but very much fun!

Kumiko is a delightful person. Before I arrive she sent me emails to get to know my interests. She's met me at my hotel with a smile. We spent a very peaceful afternoon in the gardens and cruise and making wished in the park, in the shrine, in the wishing drawers. She did everything and more to my desired. Window Shopping etc. I am seeing her for the next days - more tours. I love Tokyo! Thanks to Kumiko and the Japanese I encountered till now.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Fatti, thank you very much for your lovely comment. It was really a fun afternoon for me too. I'm glad you found the socks you were looking for. Well, it was our first day. At this moment, I didn't expect we had four more days of great joy. (to be continued...)

Kumi is the perfect guide. Our afternoon with her was like having a personal tour by a close friend who lives in Tokyo. She provided lots of background information about local customs, history, language, food, public transport - everything we wanted to know. She obviously loves her job and was happy to spend extra time with us at the end of the tour. I wanted to buy a special fountain pen so Kumi helped us find the store and act as a translator for us. What a gem!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Martin, thank you so much for such lovely compliments! I've been always trying to be visitors' best friend who knows Tokyo well, so if you felt that way, I'm SO happy about it! Visiting the stationary shop was really my pleasure. If you need to go back there, I'd be happy to come with you again and again!

This was my third tour with Kumi during my week long stay in Tokyo. The weather worked in our favor this day for sure. We had a lovely sunny day so we headed to Tokyo Sky Tree (we SAW Mt. Fuji!!), had lunch at one of Kumi's favorite places, visited Sensoji Temple and ended the day at the Tokyo National Museum. AMAZING day. I really love hearing the history and personal experiences of living in Tokyo.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: I'm super glad that I could show you Mt. Fuji from Tokyo Sky Tree because I kept checking the weather for days to pick the best day to go up there. The restaurant in Asakusa is another good example of "cheap but delicious" food in Tokyo. You may have been surprised to see Tokyo is not always super expensive. You seem to have really enjoyed Sensoji Temple trying some "spiritual" stuff. Oh, and the museum! I'm very surprised we spent so much time there. It was my joy showing you the history of Japanese art.

This was my second tour with Kumi during my week in Tokyo. She took me (via train) to Meiji Shrine, Omotesando Avenue, and Shibuya Crossing. A day of serenity, architecture, hidden gem tea house, "high-tech sushi" and Hachi's statue. : ) Beautiful weather and fun times.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: On the second day, I already felt as if you are my friend from high school. That was really a fun girl's day. I'm very impressed to see you bowing at the torii gates. Your moves were really natural as if you were Japanese. The tea room was amazing, wasn't it? I'm glad I discovered the place recently. Didn't know you love the movie "Hachi: A Dog's Tale." I'm glad I chose to take you to Shibuya by chance. This was a custom tour, but I'm now thinking about making this a new regular tour. :)

My husband was in in Tokyo for two weeks on business. He and his co-workers did not have much time during the week to see Tokyo so I decided to find something for them to do on their free weekend. Kumi created a lovely day seeing the "old" and the "new" of Tokyo. Our group of 4 had an amazing day and made a new friend. : )

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Jeaneen, it was lovely meeting you, your husband, and his co-workers. I felt as if I've known you guys for a very long time. I still cannot forget the moment they saw the pudding at the shop. That was hilarious, wasn't it? I'm glad they will have many more chances to come to Japan. Please give my best regard to them. :)
