The car, a taxi, is extremely uncomfortable. It seems to have no shocks. Two out of 4 have to sit backward. There was an event that made some sights impossible, however guide seemed to be not very enthusiastic and was separated from us by glass, making it hard to converse. He tried his best under the circumstances.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Sorry to read your comments Judith, I can accept travelling by taxi is not for everyone however I do make it clear my tours are taken in a taxi and the vehicle on the whole proves very popular. I’d have to defend myself and my vehicle from your reference to “no shocks” , my car is meticulously maintained and inspected by Edinburgh City council licensing department. The cycling event that closed most of the Old Town to traffic was indeed a disaster and made it impossible to conduct the tour as normal.

We had a very good tour with David in Edinburgh. We told him we would like to see the Royal Yacht, The Britannia so he suggested we do that first on the tour. He told us to take our time while he waited for us. After we had coffee at the Tea Room aboard the yacht, we rejoined David to tour the rest of Edinburgh. He showed us the highlights of the city as well as driving out into the countryside for some amazing views of the city. He got us very close to the castle to take pictures. Would recommend!!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Glad you enjoyed it folks, it was a real pleasure spending the day with you both. Hopefully our paths cross again some day. David.
