Alexandre took us on the private half day tour of the Louvre. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the museum and the pieces of art we asked to see. He clearly has a passion for art and teaching. The Louvre is so large that is can be a little intimidating, but Alexandre's friendly manner made this a fantastic visit. I'd highly recommend this tour and Alexandre as a guide.

Alexandre was excellent on our tour of the Louvre. We recommend him very highly, and wish we would have also hired him for a tour of the Musee d'Orsay. Expansive knowledge, efficient, and pleasant to be with.

Alexandre was an absolute delight to tour with. He was unfailingly courteous, had an in-depth knowledge of all areas of the Louvre, and engaged us in understanding various art works. I walk with a cane, and he took extra care to make way for us in the crowds and to find us a place to sit when needed. We would never have understood so clearly what we were seeing without his expertise. If there were a ten star rating we would give it to Alexandre. Please book a tour with Alexandre if you have a choice.

Absolutely awesome. Easy prompt communication. Alex was fantastic, the kids loved his tour. He is a very deep person, so much knowledge but still trendy to keep the kids focussed. I highly recommend him. Thanks Alex!

Alex got us to everything we wanted to see and much more. He provided prospective that gave me a new view. Since I build Museums for a living this was refreshing and enlightening. He didn't lecture he coached, explained and created true dialogue. I would highly recommend him.

With this being our first time visiting the Louvre, we wanted to make sure we saw the main highlights of the museum. Our tour guile, Alexandre A., was phenomenal. You can really tell he loves art by the amount of details he provides for each piece. I highly recommend this tour for all age groups.

Alexandre's terrific. On the tour was my 16 year old daughter and myself. It was her second visit and my first. Alexandre did a great job of connecting us to the history of the louve and its' progression over time. With 36,000 pieces of art in the museum, it is easy to get lost. He did a phenomenal job of helping us acclimate to the museum and understand the progression of art thru history (from 9,000 years ago to 19th century). Of course, we also saw the most cherished pieces. A cherished tour!
