Martina was an excellent guide for our tour of the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Martina knew of a privately-owned viewing point for the Cliffs of Moher that allowed us to avoid the crowds at the visitors center and, best of all, was just a short walk from the parking lot. She was knowledgeable about the geological and historical sites in the Burren such as the Caherconnell stone fort and the Poulnabrone megalithic tomb. Martina was good at asking us what we had already seen and what we'd like to see.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks Rick. It was a pleasure. You would not believe but we have highs of 30 degrees these past few days! Hope that you had a safe trip back to the USA and enjoyed your extended trip to the UK. Slan, Martina

Martina was an excellent travel guide from the very beginning. She worked with us to customize our trip to Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Galway etc. including a requested stop at Father Ted's Parochial House. She was very knowledgeable about all the areas we visited and offered a lot of insights/local flavor - the type you wouldn't know if driving yourself. When I asked my family at the end of our 10 day Ireland trip what their favorite part was, they all said Martina's tour. She was simply the best!

Our family (with kids ages 10 & 13) spent a really nice day touring County Clare (Ennis, Cliffs of Moher, Dysert O'Dea Castle, The Burren, Doolin, & Poulnabrone dolmen). Martina was very accommodating and tailored our day's tour based on our interests and the time we spent at each of the stops along the way. This type of tour allowed us to see and learn so much in a short period of time, without the stress of renting a car and navigating the roads. Thanks for supplying the sunshine too - well done!!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hello Greg and Dawn, What a lovely comment. Thank you! I am delighted that you shared the information on your great grandfather. Am also delighted that you enjoyed your day out at the Cliffs. Now that you know where your great grandfather hailed from, maybe we can visit there on your next trip to Ireland! Take care and don’t hesitate to contact me again if and when you come to Ireland (touring or no touring), All the best, Martina
