Micol was very accommodating with our time change requirements and walked us to our off the track location to watch the World Cup. After having toured Parma and Modena with prosciutto, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and Balsamic Vinegar tastings, we do not think the quality of the tastings on the Bologna foodie tour were all that good. We also waited a very long time for the food at the first tasting. We give Micol five stars because she was so very nice to us and was knowledgeable of the foods.

Micol has a passion for Bologna that made our tour with her very special. We had never been to the city, and visited on a day trip from Florence on the new superfast train. We started with a wonderful lunch at a place she recommended, then walked around the center city with her visiting markets, shops, the ancient university, and wine bars in the medieval borgo. Our focus was food and architecture, but the medical theater was an unexpected highlight. Her knowledge is deep, her style is gentle. Grazie!

We had a really enjoyable and relaxed tour with Micol. She is very pleasant and easy company - and so knowledgeable about her beautiful city. We learned a lot - and ate a lot!! A super and thorough introduction to Bologna. We followed up on a few of her recommendations over the course of our short visit as well.

Micol's foodie tour was amazing! We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bologna but this tour was so much more than the food we ate. We learnt a lot about the history of this town and its traditions. Many areas we would have missed if wandering on our own. The food tastings were meant to replace lunch but they were full meals in themselves! Amazing local chocolates, local meats, cheese and wine at a local deli and if that wasn't enough...a huge pasta meal to finish! Do this tour with Micol!
