Another winning local guide. Ken opened my eyes to an obscure but important part of Japan's heritage-the Ninja. He was intelligent, well informed, engaged and engaging. Thank you!

We spent 3 days with Ken as our guide (and I realized I accidentally posted the review for the Ninja Tour under another day/tour - "full day private tour"). I have nothing but good things to say about our time with Ken - he truly made our trip memorable, enjoyable, and educational for all of us (2 teen kids). I would highly recommend Ken and we will be sure to look him up again when we are in the Kyoto area!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Randy and Leni, Thanks for your five stars and thanks for your comment. I truly enjoyed your family's company. Please give my best regards to Ryo and Simon.-Ken S.

Despite a couple of train connections, it was a breeze to get from Namba to Iga with Ken's guidance. Furthermore, Ken is extremely knowledgeable about Ninja culture and Japan's history, which make for interesting conversations and enriched our understanding of Japan as tourists. Ken is the warmest and friendliest tour guide we have met, and he has an excellent sense of humour which never failed to entertain us.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Catherine, Thanks for your five stars evaluation. Looking forward to meeting with you in Kyoto next time. Sincerely, Ken S.

I took Ken's Iga (Ninja) village tour. He was very good about giving an educated as well as fun tour. He was very helpful about showing me how to get use the local transportation and also was very good at making suggestions while staying within my expectations of the tour. I would definitely recommend Ken to anyone who are interested in learning about Japanese history while keeping things entertaining.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Mat, Thanks for your evaluation. Please come back again to Japan with your friends for pleasant tours! Have a great life ! Ken S.

Ken put together a great day for the four of us. My husband and 2 children (9,7) dressed as Ninjas and this was one of the highlights of the tour. The scenery to get to Iga was also a highlight. Highly recommend this tour for people who want to get something different out of their holiday and move out of the cities

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Many thanks for your evaluation. Looking forward to meeting you again. Sincerely, Ken S.

Ken was a fabulous guide. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and humorous. He guided us effortlessly through the mazes of buses, trains, and subways between Kyoto and Iga.We wouldn't have made it without him. He talked sufficiently about the Ninja culture and the related historical events during that time period accompanied by maps, pictures, and descriptive literature. He translated the spoken Japanese for us during the demonstrations at the museum. We had nice conversations about current events.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Greg and Lisa, Thanks for your five star evaluation and your comment. I was surprized with your deep knowlege about Ninja and am very impressed with Lisa's comments on the nature in Japan. Looking forward to meeting you again. Many thanks, Ken S.
