The tour was a full day and very active. Hierve el agua is a beautiful spot and well worth the hiking. Our guide Juan was AMAZING. He was knowledable, funny, and his English was excellent. He knew all the plants and geology of the area and after our hike took us to a terrific Zapotec weaver who gave us a private demonstration. The ruins at Mitla were also part of the day and if you have ever visited any archeological sites in Mexico, this one is really comparable in details and history. Great day!
Juan was incredible! We spent more than two hours hiking at hierve el agua and because we had time left over at the end of the tour, added on a visit to a beautiful 16th century church. Would highly recommend Juan!
