If you are going to visit the Cinque Terre then Anna is the person you want to go with. We had the most amazing day with her. We saw more and did more in a day than anyone could if the tried to do it on their own or with a cruise ship tour. Our time with her was fantastic and there were occasions she went up and above the call of duty to help us and make sure our time n the Cinque Terre was one that we would never forget.

Anna was Awesome! Our family (2 adults, 2 college kids) spent 13 hours with her on a Cinque Terre tour and a half day Florence tour. Her nuggets of fun facts that you can't read in a book and incredible knowledge of the cities were priceless. Anna has a great personality and fun to be with. She was very accommodating when we changed up the itinerary a little on both days. Her English was clear so we could understand everything she was telling us unlike other guides we heard around us.

Our day got off to a rocky start, no fault of Anna's. Anna rolled with the punches and our group enjoyed our day touring the Cinque Terra very much. We can definitely recommend Anna.

Ana was one the most knowledgeable and intelligent tour guides I have used in the past 15 years. Her being extremely well versed in how to get around and about due to her being a local, purely fluent in Italian and just plain "with it" in a very busy tourist region such as Florence was also tantamount in making the tour so enjoyable and efficient. Art history, food & wine, history of the area and history were on display when with her. Also she is an avid hiker to boot. She is quite an accomplished guide!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Cinque Terre. She navigated the trains brilliantly (no small feat) and enlightened us about the history and culture of the region. She is extremely intelligent and her love of hiking/outdoors shines through. We highly recommend Anna as a tour guide. Amazing lady !

To be fair, Anna was concerned for our safety on a rainy day. The entire day was rushed in order to get us off the hiking trail before the trail was too slick, muddy or otherwise dangerous to pass. However, we all felt that the beginning of the tour she could have been more aware of our needs to restroom, water, coffee etc. Again in a hurry to get to a certain train, we were almost running from the boat to the train causing a stressful situation. We also felt the day was expensive.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you for the feedback. Hiking in the Cinque Terre on a day with rain forecast reduces flexibility: the trails require certain time to complete, the boats run on a reduced schedule, the taxis are difficult to find and the trains are more likely to be late. I always warn guests about rain forecast ahead of tour. Doing this tour from Florence adds further constraints because three trains must be changed to arrive in the Cinque Terre. Prices of tours are known in advance and there are no hidden costs.

We enjoyed our Cinque Terre tour with Anna very much. We learned about each village walking around to view them from various perspectives. We enjoyed a nice lunch in Vernazza. We also stopped at Porto Venere to see and learn before returning back to Florence from La Spezia. I would highly suggest taking this tour with Anna!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Aaron and Mike, Thank you for a wonderful day, it was a delight to guide you. Best wishes with your upcoming travels and hope to see you back in Italy soon. Anna
