Meri was a delight - she knows the city history, and made it come alive for us as we walked about. It was raining buckets for part of our tour - and she had even brought extra umbrellas for us! Our tour ended with a glass of juice, and an opportunity to review a map of the entire island. We now have a good idea on how we want to spend our remaining time here. Meri brought us out to the airport so we could rent a car. Clearly service above and beyond!

Terrific tour of the city and nice shopping. Our guide was very knowledgeable of both the history of the city and where to go to find just the right gifts.

Meri gave us a wonderful tour of Fort-de-France. She is well versed in the history of Martinique and was able to answer all of our questions dealing with the present and past of the island. We invited Meri to join us for lunch at the end of the tour and the conversation continued - it was great!

Meri was wonderful! She is flexible (will show you what you are most interested in), knowledgeable (she knows architecture, history both past and current, culture of the Caribbean and the French), and even science. This tour gives you an idea of what is in Fort-de-France itself. Good if you have limited time.

Our group constituted of both English and French speakers, and Meri knew how to leverage our group dynamic in order to communicate effectively to us. The tour itself took us through landmarks of national French history such as the statue of Josephine, to local history, and even local points of interest such as the open market. To close the tour, Meri treated us with a tasting of sugarcane juice. Overall, a fantastic tour and a very knowledgeable person to have as a guide.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Frank and her friends were very nice and dynamic, and it was a pleasure to meet you all! Hope to see you on the island again and thank you for taking the time to write a review!

Meri is a most pleasant necessity if you wish to see and learn about Martinique. Her upbeat personality combined with her extensive local knowledge are a winning combination. While touring the beautiful island Meri found an excellent restaurant for lunch that served French cuisine with some Creole specialities. My wife and I are very particular about guides and we can highly recommend Meri.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: It was an absolute pleasure meeting and guiding Duncan and Susan and I really enjoyed the discussions we had together. Thank you again and wishing you two all the best!
