Walda did an excellent job showing us the lovely Dutch countryside - I highly recommend her as a guide. At the Zaanse Schans windmills, try the mustard soup. I think that local cuisine is one of the joys of travel. Thank you Walda for a delightful day!!!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Cynthia, I knew you would like the local mustard soup! Great reward after visiting the windmills, right? Thanks again for another 5 star review! Hugs, Walda

Fantastic Tour Guide. Walda is knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. Her tours are focused on what you want to see and do. I would definitely book one of Walda's tour again.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Louise, thank you for your 5 star review for our two tours. It was fun showing you, your sister and the kids around in Amsterdam and in the countryside and it was great to enjoy museum treasures, windmills, fishermen villages, smoked eal, cheese and 'poffertjes' together. Hugs, Walda

Walda was a great guide. We drove to the country and she stopped so that I could photograph the beautiful scenery. She was very knowledgeable, flexible, and made our trip to Amsterdam very memorable. We highly recommend Walda.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you for your kind words and 5 star review, Teresa! Hope you photos turned out well and give you great memories of our beautiful day in the typical Dutch countryside with windmills, Zaanse houses, dykes, canals, wild rabbits, sheep and cows! Hugs, Walda

Walda was the absolute perfect guide for our group of 6 women on an Amsterdam adventure weekend. She was kind, patient, fun and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Our day with her was the highlight of our long weekend.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Bonnie and friends, thank you for a great day! We had a lovely time in the Keukenhof Gardens, though it was the busiest day of the year, and a great time at the Zaanse Schans windmill and clog demonstration and in Volendam. Thank you for the break in the restaurant and local bar, glad that you enjoyed it too! Big hug, Walda

Walda was the highlight of our trip. She was prompt, personable, knowledgeable, and local. She may not realize how much she can share to a visitor. Next time we visit, we'll be calling Walda for a "Museum" Day. Thanks Walda!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks Kevin! I enjoyed our tour tot the Keukenhof Gardens, the Zaanse Schans windmills, restaurant en Edam! Your family is fun to be with, enthousiastic, interested and easy to handle. I'd love to do a Museum day with you next time! Best regards, Walda

This was the final of 3 tours we booked with Walda and once again, she did an amazing job! We started in Edam, walking through the town, learning its history and finished with tasting and buying edam cheese. We then traveled on to Zaanse Schans where we explored historic windmills and homes, learned about the history of wooden shoes, sat through a wooden shoe making demonstration and finished with a warm bowl of mustard soup. Once again Walda the sites and insights Walda shared made for a perfect day!

We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. Walda is knowledgeable, friendly and just a joy to be with. Before the tour at the Van Gogh museum I wasn't very much of a fan but after our tour with Walda I have a new appreciation of the artist work.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Leslie, Thank you for your kind words. It was my pleasure to help you understand Vincent Van Gogh's mind and work. We had a lovely two days together, didn't we? Walda

Excellent Guide. Very well informed, and fun to be with!!! My wife and I had a spectacular day. We got exactly what we had hoped for. Walda is an absolute treasure, and she shared her knowledge and enthusiasm with us.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Michael, Thank you very much for taking the time to write reviews for our tours in September last year. Nobody has called me a treasure before, you flatter me! Just happy to hear that you got what you hoped for. It was my pleasure. Best wishes, Walda

Walda was a wonderful guide, very knowlagable about all things we were interested in. Took us to Van Zaans and saw wonderful windmills, old renovated buildings and shops, and a wooden shoe maker. Went to Edam, where youcan get Edam cheese (which is wonderful tasting), drove through some small, living villages that are still in the "old time" buildings and bridges. Had a wonderful time. Really great how Walda connected with my wife and our 22 and 24 year old granddaughters. A first class tour
