Wow! From the moment we met Jim, he was courteous, professional, and wanted to ensure he understood our hopes and aspirations for the tour. His knowledge of Nashville history including the Civil War was outstanding. This was the first time to Nashville for my wife, our son, and his girlfriend. Jim made the welcome to Music City a special event. I will strongly recommend Jim to our clients traveling to Nashville. Thank you, Nick

Nashville's "Singing Superlative Guide" gave us the feeling that we were almost living the history of Tennessee. A nonstop talker with the Southern "drawl," his passion in relating the story of his beloved state demonstrated that he is a finely tuned son. His knowledge also included detailed descriptions of the battlefields, the impact of war and such interesting little things like explaining the foliage and trees which created the beauty of TN. His singing was a special and an unexpected gift."

Jim was very accommodating to our short notice request for a tour. He asked about our interests so that he could tailor the tour. He is knowledgeable and added humor to the tour. I recommend using Jim as a tour guide especially if you have an interest in the history of Nashville.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Had a great time with you. Hope our paths cross again!

We took Jim's tour on a beautiful snowy day. The rest of the town was pretty much shut down but Jim followed through. He knows a lot about the area and was able to answer any question we came up with. The tour we took was an overview of the area and Jim covered a lot of interesting events during it. My friend has been working in Nashville for about 6 months and she felt she learned more about Nashville during that one afternoon with Jim than she had in all those 6 months. Thank you Jim!

Jim went way above and beyond to make our tour enjoyable and informative. He has a great personality, and a vast knowlege of the area. I think Jim has found the perfect job for him as a guide! I would have given six stars if available.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dennis, it was a real pleasure to tour with you! I'm still talking about you with other tourists as the very smart guy who stood beside ole # 456 at Cenntennial Park and explained how a steam engine worked. Very cool! I need to let you know when they get it back on the tracks and running again. I'll try to remember!

one of the best tours we have taken. Jim is knowledgeable, humorous and accommodating. and to add to it he sings!!! he provided a great flavor of the city, the state and the current status of Nashville. He knows how to blend the past with the present. He also knows some great lunch stops. great Job Jim..
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Touring with guys like you makes it all pure pleasure! At the end of the day I felt like we were old friends. I hope our paths cross again!
We loved our tour and our guide Jim: A whole day of fun visiting several cultural and historical sites. Jim is very knowledgeable about Nashville, its history and the music industry. The tour allowed us to crack the mystery of the city (which is not a typical touristic destination) and to continue our visits the next few days with a better understanding of what to do next. Highly recommended. Thanks Jim.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Had a great time with you guys as well! Hadn't really thought about Nashville as being a place of "mystery" but it's always smart to consider anything from a fresh set of eyes. Seriously, it's alotta fun to speak with those here for the first time and consider their first impressions. Every city has its own unique personality and I need to hear from visitors as to just what strikes them as unique or different about Nashville. Hey, hope our paths cross again sometime!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hey, if a guy can't sing on key moving down Music Row he's got a problem! Had a wonderful time with you guys, especially enjoyed her stories and anecdotes about her Cuban heritage and history. Great pleasure spending that time with you.

We had an excellent tour with Jim as part of a Civil War History Road Trip my US Army Ret. "history buff" husband and I did through Tennessee. He is both knowledgeable and personable, and he made the historic and "off the beaten path" sites come alive for both of us. Highly recommended, especially if you have an interest in US history.

Our day with Jim was one we will always remember. His knowledge and insight into the History and battle of Nashville made us feel like we were right there. By the end of the day we felt we had known him for years. In addition to all of that his Southern Charm and "love of the subject" was infectious. We would recommend this tour to anyone. George & Susan
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: "You'all" are very kind. Visitors like you make it all worthwhile. What did the Beatles say in the Sgt.Pepper song?: "You're such a lovely audience...We'd love to take you home with us..etc." That's the way I felt at end of our day together! Good luck to you. Hope our paths cross again.
