Migual lost his way and could not find hotel for pick or drop off for either of the 2 transfers. He basically got lost for each transfer and had to go back and look again every single time. He did not ask if we wanted to stop at a rest area and just said " I an going to stop at a gas station because I NEED TO GET WATER." He missed the turn for 2 gas stations. On a positive note he did get us there.

Right on time, Miguel met us at arrivals with a sign with my name on it. He is a very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable guy! The transfer was swift and also very comfortable.

The transfer from Faro to Vilamoura with Migual was ok. Our plane had a delay of 30 min. I have given this message par sms to Migual, but he did not answer. He has to be keen on his phone with such an appointment. At least he came just in time. My daughter and I were looking for him. You could not recognize him by a batch of Toursbylocals, what I were always.. I will give him a rate of 8 on 10.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you for your comments Ineke, In the event of flight delays my office is aware of this via tracking system so that I may be notified of any changes.Meanwhile it it not usual for me to respond to my phone while actually driving.I believe our meeting point system works well in the event of travellers not being able to identify me and always carry a sign bearing the travellers name.
