We have been fortunate in all our tours. But John's tour yesterday was outstanding! He was knowledgeable in so many varied areas of Tenerife, from the history of the pirates to an incredible knowledge of plants and agriculture! He was kind and very sensitive to my husband's physical disabilities and always made sure to minimize how much he had to walk, and often had us wait while he retrieved the car. We also had a FABULOUS lunch!! Touring with John was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!!!!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Suzan and Larry, Thank you so much for taking the trouble to write a note about me. You do exaggerate! But I highly appreciate it and hope you can come this way again for more, maybe before a long hot summer when the island is still alive with blossom. All the best, John

We had two excellent tours with John. John is highly informative, courteous and considerate, his style is also relaxed and friendly. Our experience was almost like a day out with a well informed friend. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Steven, Thank you very much indeed for taking time to comment on your tours. You made my job really easy. I too left you feeling that I could call you up to go and have a beer or two....and hear more about travelling around the world from friends. Glad you enjoyed both the Gofio and the Parador....see if you can find an article on google called "Windham of the Canaries". You might enjoy it! Days when only ships had to find where to park. All the best

John guided me through Tenerife's first capital city La Laguna, a city filled with history, art and charm. He knew his history and the places to see (especially the art) and gave me an understanding of the Island. His family has deep ties here going back to 1812. He took me to a local out of the way place for lunch which was exactly what I was looking for and I had rabbit for the first time as well as locally prepared potatoes with the local "mojo" sauce. He also showed me Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz
