Fernando was a delight to spend 3 hours with and was knowledgeable and able to answer any of our questions. He was a passionate guide and loved to share his knowledge with us. He was well presented and spoke clearly. We enjoyed his company and will happily recommend him and your company.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Ciao Vivienne, I'm truly glad I was able to answer all your questions! But it was more like a conversational tour so your opinions and thoughts were very stimulating. The ghetto is one of my favourite areas in Venice and there is always a lot more to learn.... Hugs to all ya and best regards Fernando

Fernando's command of historical information is amazing! He really is devoted to all things Venice and Italy! And this particular tour focused on Jewish sites and history, which was very interesting. Probably the only comment we would have is that it took some concentration on our part to understand (and hear) everything he was saying in such depth. He has a lot of information to impart! But an amazing tour and introduction to this important story!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Ciao Cassie, thank you for your comment. I really like Jewish Venetian history so when I start my speech at the Ghetto I go my way..... I'll consider to give my clients some time off just to wander around. Best wishes Fernando

Fernando was a wonderful guide. We all really enjoyed our tour of the Jewish Ghetto area and the history walk we had with Fernando from San Marco square to the Jewish area. Fernando was prompt, very knowledgeable, a good communicator and funny. He also gave us many tips for our visit to Venice. We would highly recommend Fernando. Thank you.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Ciao Richard, Venice had a pivot role in Jewish European history and there is so much to say. It was nice to spend time with you walking around in Venice, time went very fast. Best to all Fernando

Our group found Fernando to be very accessible, helpful and welcoming, even long before our tour was to take place! From home we emailed back and forth as he answered questions, explained transportation, arranged timing etc, then he even connected to WhatsApp to be able to communicate with us once we arrived in Venice. Fernando is exciting to learn from because he has obviously put his mind and heart into what he is telling us; the old and young among us are so enriched for having toured with Fernando!

Fernando is extremely knowledgable about the history of Venice and Venitian Jewry. His tour was jam packed with information in addition to giving us a great overview of Venice in general. Fernando was also extremely accommodating, especially finding the perfect cafe for a cappuccino break. Bravo Fernando e molto grazie!

We enjoyed our day with Fernando. He shared with us not only a history of the Jews in Venice, but a general history as well, which helped me to understand Jewish history within the context of a larger perspective. The tour was very factual and we might have enjoyed more stories and vignettes about actual people and situations, but all in all it was an informative and enjoyable time. We were a tough group of 8, who are sometimes difficult to reign in. Fernando was very patient and pleasant.
