Our tour and guide were FABULOUS. Alberobello, Locorotondo and Ostuni are great places to visit from the cruise port if Brindisi. We really enjoyed a wine tasting and lunch at Sirose winery in Locorotondo. Our guide/driver for the day was wonderful and very knowledgeable about all three cities.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Tom, we have spent such a nice day all together. You have to come more often to visit Puglia :-)

Alessandro did a great job showing us around the Puglia region of Italy. He took us to some beautiful villages and gave us just the right amount of information but also gave us some time to ourselves. He even pre-purchased some local Primitivo wines for us (requested in advance) and took us to a local olive oil store. He picked us up and dropped us off right at our ship. He was a few minutes late arriving but he added extra time to the end. I would use him again.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Brad, it's been a pleasure to sepnd a few hours with you. Even if we haven't had the time to visit a winery, you have been able to enjoy one of the most representative wine in this region: the Primitivo di Manduria. I'm glad you enjoied the tour and I hope also the wine.

16/10/2016. An excellent tour of the Puglian countryside with Alessandro. We were met at our hotel in Brindisi then transported to Ostuni, Martina Branco, Locorotonto and Alberobello. Alessandro was a delightful host, making our tour interesting and informative and he was considerate of our needs at all times. We returned to our hotel late in the afternoon enriched by the experience.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Margaret, I'm glad you found the tour interesting and informative. Meet and exceed the needs of travelers is my first main purpose and I'm really happy when people feel enriched of a new experience at the end of a tour.

On 23/04/16 I had an all day tour of the Puglia region with Alessandro. It was an outstanding experience from the start. He's very easy to talk to & answered all my many questions. I now have a full understanding of olives, olive trees & the production of the oil.And that was only one of the topics we spoke about. Needless to say, he's very knowledgeable about the region & has a great love for Puglia & all that it has to offer visitors like myself. On a scale of 1 to 5 Alessandro would receive a 5.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Lynne, I'm probably a little biased but it's so easy to fall in love for this terrific region :-) I'm happy I managed to give you all information you need to recognise an excellent and healthy extraviirgin olive oil. Mee too I enjoied your company ... and on a scale from 1 to 5 I would rate you 6 :-)

Incredible tour for our group traveling from Bari to Lecce, with stops at the best places to see - Alberobello, Ostuni and visits to local winery and cappa cotta production. Was one of the highlights of the trip.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: I agree with you: this area is unique and terrific for its architecture, landscape, wine and food. I'm glad you enjoied the itinerary designed together

Alessandro took us on a fabulous tour of the Vale d'Itria! Starting in Lecce, we visited Ostuni, Cisternino, Locorotondo and Alberobello. He has extensive knowledge about the history of Puglia and its art, architecture and culture. He was prompt, pleasant to be with and always clearly concerned about giving us the best experience possible. Alessandro really made the region come alive for us!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Richard and Tammy, thanks for your kind feedback. It has been a pleasure to spend some days with you and I'm glad you enjoied Puglia. I'll wait for your next trip to visit some other part of this wonderfull region.

Alessandro is incredibly knowledgeable and provided an abundance of historical information. At times, we found that he provided too much detail and spoke quickly (information overload) This is why we gave 3 stars instead of 4. If you are a history buff, you would probably appreciate the level of details. Very friendly and he was prompt. Our weather did not cooperate, and Alessandro attempted to adjust our program accordingly which was much appreciated.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Feedback is aways very important, in particular those that aren’t so enthusiastic and they help me to improve.I always do my best to personalize the tour to meet the expectations of travelers. Sometimes the questions are not enough to understand the interests. I'll learn for next time to ask more than once for feedback during the tour: it's very helpful. It is not easy to summarize the long history of Puglia in a few words without losing the essence of our culture ... also made of anecdotes.

Our tour was to include Martina Franca, Alberobello, Locorotondo, guided visit of Ostuni and the option of visiting Cisternino or Ceglia Messapica. We cancelled Ostuni (as that was our next port of call), we did not get to either of the optional towns and got back much later than the planned 17.45. Apart from poor time management and the fact that he took us to restaurant for a long lunch when we had specifically asked for a light lunch, Alessandro was a knowledgable, informative and very helpful guide.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Sorry you were not completely satisfied with the tour.Bad luck with weather;usually Sept is nice but that day it rained & we had delays to avoid getting wet/catch a cold.We also spent time finding cheap solution for your transfer for the day after. The choice to visit only Alberobello,Martina Franca,Locorotondo was not my.I also think that a small selection of cheeses as starter & a first course(pasta w/ vegetables)is light lunch. In tourism sometimes things are out of our control but I accept your comment

Alessandro was punctual, courteous, informative & friendly. We left the tour in his capable hands and we were not disappointed. He knew all the best places and views to visit in each location. He was very flexible & did not hurry us up. He went out of his way to explain so many things besides the items on our itinerary & was always ready to answer any questions. We felt that he could have left out some of the "guidebook" details, he must have felt drained after a whole day! Some lovely traditional food too.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Odette, thanks for your feedback and I'm glad you liked the tour. A big hug to your wonderfull family ... and I hope to meet you in the next future for a visit of Lecce and some other Apulian city.
