We thoroughly enjoyed our exploration of the Etruscan necropoli with Danila. She is very knowledgeable about the subject matter and brought along a book with additional photos to illustrate her points. Her English is excellent and she is very personable and enjoyable to be with. When she found out that the Etruscan museum in Tarquinia would be closed for an extension of the Easter holiday, she came up with an interesting plan to tour the medieval town of Tarquinia as a replacement.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Patricia and thank you for your positive comments about the tour. Regarding the Euphronio Krater I've been surprised by what you've said about its absence at Cerveteri museum and so I've immediately called the museum that assured me it had never moved to other places since 2015. So I was wondering if you visited the second floor, where the krater is exposed, and go to this link to verify this is the vase you loved .https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euphronios_Krater. Let me know, please. Thanks Danila

Danila gave a very good tour of the ancient tombs dated before Christ in Tarquinia and Cerveteri. She also took us to a museum to see many artifacts. We had lunch at a lovely restaurant near the museum and ate outside. Danila joined us which was vey nice! She was very enthusiastic and knowledgable, knowing her subject well. She had a driver so she could concentrate on her tour information.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks Diane!
