Our excursion with Ana Maria was a good. She spoke fluent English, knew a lot of things about Rio and was a nice person. Disadvantages: she was always in a hurry to do a lot of things. For us who were in Rio for the first time, it was a little difficult to hang together. She spoke with a high voice, so other people looked to us! But she was happy and told us many things about Rio and showed also many unknown places. We were a little disappointed because she forgot to show us a place to buy coffee.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Sorry, but Carnival is often a very difficult time for the guides in Rio (we become a little bit excited with the streets blocked for cars to give space to the people having fun around). All this mess force us (the guides) to be on alert and carefull concerning the traffic, the hundreds people everywhere, the safety of the group and the busy traffic... It was a great pleasure ( except forgetting the coffee shop) to host you in Rio and cover all the best venues in the city. It was indeed a great time
