Giuseppe was ill and not available to take us on the tour we booked with him. He though contacted us in advance to let us know and provided a replacement tour guide who did a wonderful job of taking over Giuseppe's tour. We appreciated the efforts made by Giuseppe to make sure our day was not ruined because of his illness.
TOURSBYLOCALS RESPONSE: In the unusual case where a guide can't personally deliver a tour, the traveler is notified in advance and given the opportunity to cancel or accept the substitute.
