I had arranged a tour with Ines but the week before we were to leave she emailed me saying she was hurt and could not do the tour. However she arranged to have another guide, Sylvia who would do the tour instead. Sylvia was wonderful. Ines was in constant touch with us via Email. We had a terrible trip over and were a day late so they totally rearranged the times for the tour so we would not miss anything. Sylvia even drove us from our hotel to our ship. My only regret is that we did not get to meet Ines

Fortunately my ankle sprain is doing a bit better and I got back to work, but with some limitations. I am happy that we managed to rearrange everything and that you enjoyed your time here with Silvia, being able to go to all the places that were initially planned :) She enjoyed her time with you too and says hi! Maybe we can meet in the future!
TOURSBYLOCALS RESPONSE: In the unusual case where a guide can't personally deliver a tour, the traveler is notified in advance and given the opportunity to cancel or accept the substitute.
