I wanted to discover what life was like in Zimbabwe at the grassroots level. We randomly visited a rural orphanage, a family homestead, a school, and a clinic. None of the hosts expected us. Money was scarce, but everyone was living with purpose, pride, and supporting each other. It renewed my faith in mankind. Fungayi was an attentive, punctual guide with a big heart and a cheerful disposition. We left groceries or other gift at each location, with smiles all around. It filled our hearts!

We used Fungayi for a guided tour of the Falls, with pick-up/drop-off at our hotel. He was slightly late picking us up, due to a flat tire, though he did call the hotel to advise us he was running behind. His vehicle was clean and comfortable when he arrived, & he provided raincoats and bottled water for the Falls. A bit more history/narration while we were at the Falls would have been nice (he was on the phone a bit), though he took us to a great non-touristy local restaurant at our request. YUM!!

the guide left us at a market and drove off so we were stranded there for 25 minutes after having bought a few items. it was not comfortable.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: The market was something outside the tour and the clients took a little longer than expected so i had to quickly go and attend to other clients but my apology for not communicating properly
TOURSBYLOCALS RESPONSE: The issue was brought up to Fungayi's support manager and to Fungayi himself, who apologized for the inconvenience and assured us that incidents like the one aforementioned will not repeat itself.
