Excellent tour. Gave a great overall background on the founding and growtg of this area. No one should cone to san antonio without including a tour of the missions.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you for your feedback James I will work on talking about my own connection to San Antonio a little less. It was wonderful touring with you, your wife and in-laws. Please send my regards to your family they were all interesting people and fascinating conversationalists.

I can't adequately say how comfortable I felt with John who promptly picked me up at the hotel, spent 4 hours educating me and then dropped me off at the airport for my return flight home. His knowledge, both professionally and from a personal perspective was so informative and provided wonderful background on the history of San Antonio. I wouldn't hesitate to book his services again. It's a beautiful city and I was surprised to learn it is the 7th largest in the U.S.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: I am glad you enjoyed the tour. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful day with John on his Tuscany of Texas tour! He is well informed and a great communicator. We enjoyed our travel time as we headed for the Texas Hill Country. John was more than happy to grant our request to stop at Luckenbach Texas, population 3, of the famous country song. We stopped at 3 wineries specially selected by John for us to visit and had an authentic German lunch in Fredricksburg. John even accommodated my need for a coffee and chocolate before heading home.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Christine, it was truly a pleasure to tour with you and your husband. Thank you so much for your kind remarks.

We contacted John to do a combo of the LBJ Ranch and Fredericksburg City. What a great day. It takes all day but John is full of info on both areas and took the time on the drive up tot he LBJ Ranch to give us a lot of history on San Antonio as well. It was a great day and we ate lunch in Fredericksburg at a great German cuisine lunch spot. Well worth the day and the cost. He picked us up at our hotel right on time and there was no crazy schedule pressure. John also takes bathroom breaks into account !!
