A see almost everything by Car Tour
This relaxed 7 hour tour includes many of the iconic landmarks of Québec City, the pastoral landscapes of the Island of Orleans, the magnificent Montmorency Falls and an exquisite lunch, in a breathtaking setting. Along the way we will stop at a couple of charming, family businesses, to sample local delicacies/wines.
In the Old Town, you will retrace 500 years of North American history through the principal sites that earned Old Québec City its World Treasure designation by UNESCO and perhaps go inside a couple of sites.
You will learn: how Champlain created a vast fur trading network extending through the great lakes, down to New Orleans. I will provide a geo-political sketch that connects the dots between Québec City, the French Indian War and the American War of Independence and explain why the Bristish, then the Americans, so desperately wanted Québec.
