A Full Day Tour of the Pyramids of Giza
This tour is for those who are interested in learning how the pyramids where built, their history and the development of the shape of the tombs during the pharaonic period.
The day would start by picking you up from the hotel to start our excursion to The Giza Pyramids area to see the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren and visit to the Valley Temple. Move to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser. Then proceed to have your lunch (optional). After that proceed to Memphis which was founded by King Menes (Narmer), and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years and the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.
- Meeting at the beginning of the day.
- Drive to Giza pyramids.
- Visit the three pyramids at the plateau of Giza (Cheops, Khephren and Mycrenus).
- Solar boat museum (optional).
- Sphinx & the mummification temple.
- Saqqara area (the step Pyramid & one of the nobles tombs).
- Lunch (optional).
- Memphis museum.

Another great tour with Rasha! In addition to seeing the major sites and pyramids, we avoided the crowds by going inside a lesser known pyramid and separately, had a great tomb to ourselves!
