Puebla city + Cholula + Cuexcomate volcano
Mexico is so diverse! And there is so much to see here!
I invite you to discover with me the beauty of colonial Mexico in Puebla city located about two hours away from the Mexican capital. We would wonder at its lovely streets, surrounded by the colonial buildings covered with hand-painted tiles.
What to say, Puebla is considered a gastronomic capital of Mexico, so you can taste yourself the best of the Mexican cuisine. For example - "mole", a chocolate sauce made with more than 40 ingredients!
Cholula is a beautiful town located at Puebla area. What is it famous for? The great pyramid of Cholula is the largest pyramid known to exist in the world today. And on the top of that pyramid (only imagine that) was build a beautiful church, that we are lucky to have an opportunity to visit.
It is a day full of wonders! So I would show you a smallest volcano in the world, you would even have chance to go to the crater of that volcano!
That would be an awesome day, full of culture and beauty.
At the morning we would leave Mexico City. It would take us about two hours to get to Cholula town, where we would spend about two hours while we discover archaeological site and visit a church.
After we would visit Cuexcomate, a little town where the smallest volcano in the world is located.
And the last but not least would be Puebla City, we would discover its incredible colonial architecture, have lunch in one of the restaurants of the city, and, of course, visit a famous field, where the battle of 5 de Mayo happened.
