The Main Attractions on the South Coast including the Black Beach

Come and see the magnificent glacier and volcano Eyjafjallajokull. The volcano is famous for erupting in 2010 stopping all the air traffic between the US and Europe. We'll also pass ice cap Myrdalsjokull with volcano Katla still dormant beneath the ice. Mt Katla is one of the most interesting volcanoes in Iceland.

During the tour we take a walk towards glacier tongue Solheimajokull where you can see the glacier up close. Optional to take a short walk at extra price. Booking needed.

We drive to the village of Vik where you can have lunch. We also visit the famous black beach Reynisfjara with puffin flying around in summer. The beach is considered to be one of ten most beautiful beaches in the world.

Last but not least - we'll visit waterfall Seljalandsfoss where you can take the popular walk behind the waterfall. We will also take a break at waterfall Skogafoss.

I can create a customized tour for you in case you have any special requests or if you are more than 5 persons and or need a larger vehicle.

A Recent Review of this tour

This was our favorite!. Seeing Glaciers, volcanoes and waterfalls all in one day was unforgettable. Our grandson wanted to take a walk out on the Glacier and Gudrun brought appropriate gear to take him out. The picutres were stunning. We waited for them as we were not in condition to trek across a glacier. I particularly loved the Black Beach. It is magnificent and should not be missed but you could say that about the waterfalls as well. Gudrun made sure we saw it all.
