Enjoy some cider, calvados , Camembert cheese tastings and a "Gourmet" lunch with an expert foodie of Normandy.
Starting in Caen, you will be guided through the wonderful market of Caen around the port.
Being myself a passionate cook and restaurant critic during the "off-season". I will introduce you to Normandy's best products.
Let's go to the village of Camembert to visit a cheese factory.
There you will see how the Camembert, Pont Lévèque, and Livarot are handmade for over 2 centuries.
After some tastings let's go for lunch in "The Fossard" a lovely restaurant in the Pays d'Auge, set by a water mill facing Normand cows pastures.
After lunch I will bring you to visit another Pont Lévèque maker
Then, let's go to Breuil en Auge, to visit the Breuil en Auge, Calvados producer.
And after some tastings ( at least five good glasses) we will head to Trouville to see and taste some oysters and seafood.
Still hungry ?
An organic icecream in Honfleur is waiting for you.
In Honfleur we will have time to visit the city which inspired Impressionists painters from Monet, E-Boudin, to W. Turner.
