walking tour in the City and driving into the countryside combined
During this trip I will meet you at Mirabell Palace (or you will be picked up at your hotel in the city of Salzburg) and then I'll start a 2, 5hrs walking tour through the old town of Salzburg. You get to know the architectural, historical and regional facts and also you see a lot of movie locations - the most famous of it is the sound of music movie but also others, like knight & day. You will also pass by Mozart's birth place and you'll get a lot of background information about the people living in Salzburg and making it so famous around the whole world.
Then you can have a lunch in the center before we start a driving tour in our comfortable panorama glass roof van. You will see there palace of Leopoldskron, palace of Hellbrunn and then going to the lake district returning to the city by the village of Mondsee with it's famous basilica.
A great day for you to combine the impressions from lifestyle in city and countryside in Salzburg.

We had a wonderful day with Bernd. He was knowledgeable and accommodating and allowed for our family to relax and enjoy our day trip to Salzburg. In addition to visiting the sites of Salzburg, we visited the lake district and viewed the sites from the Sound of Music and even sampled some local treats and baking. Bernd communicated with us well and advised us to take a train from Vienna to Salzburg.
