Enjoy a Day in the City and the Country
Combine San Francisco Highlights with Those Magnificent Redwoods tours for The Perfect Day. See your favorite sights in San Francisco in the morning, stop in pretty, bayside village of Sausalito for lunch, and finish by walking among the magnificent redwoods in Muir Woods.
The National Park Service prohibits guides from leading tours in Muir Woods. Therefore, I will talk to you about the trees during the drive to the Woods but will let you stroll through the redwoods on your own.
The National Park Service requires that I get a reservation to take you to Muir Woods. Therefore, while I may be available at your requested time, I cannot guarantee that I can get a reservation at the time you want to visit the park. Prior to accepting your booking request, I will let you know the times that are available for visiting the park if I cannot get a reservation at your preferred time.

I will take you to those sights that have made San Francisco everyone's favorite city: Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, the Crookedest Street in The World (Lombard Street), Telegraph Hill, Fisherman's Wharf, the Presidio, the Golden Gate Bridge, Sea Cliff, Golden Gate Park, Haight-Ashbury, and other sights as time permits . You can add and subtract destinations depending on your interests and schedule. Also remember that the big vans and buses cannot take you to Lombard Street, Telegraph Hill, Sea Cliff, and all of the Presidio.
We'll stop in Sausalito, a pretty bayside village, for lunch.
Finally, we'll head to Muir Woods, where you will walk among the magnificent coastal redwoods - the tallest trees in the world.

Rick gave our family of six an absolutely wonderful tour of San Francisco, Sausalito and the Muir Woods. The tour was not only a lot of fun, it was also very educational due to Rick's impressive knowledge of SF and the Bay Area. Our four kids (ages 10, 8, 6, and 4) loved seeing all of the sights and learned so much at the same time. The tour was the highlight of our trip. We are so glad we booked the tour and had Rick as our tour guide. We recommend him without reservation. Chris C.
