See film sites & find ot all about the making of the TV show
Help us solve Inspector Morse's crimes as we visit film sites to find out all about the making of the TV show & learn all about Colin Dexter & his famous character. Tour usually ends at Morse's favourite pub. Entry into Morse or Lewis film sites is included in your ticket. Usually this will be either Exeter college and/or New college and/or the Divinity School (Bodleian Library) or Wadham college. Entrance varies depending on what happens to be open to visit from week to week and the time of year. The tour lasts average 90-120 minutes.
This tour price is aimed at groups size of 1-4 persons. If you wish to book the tour for a larger group, please ask for a quote for surcharge fee.
The tour route and which colleges we visit inside varies from day to day and what time you may book tour, to fit around opening times of the specific colleges. Note that if you choose to book a tour to start at 6pm or at 8pm, then all the colleges are closed to visitors at that time but we can still deliver a tour to tell you all about Morse's relationship with the university colleges but without entering the colleges.

Tour conducted in English. Note that we can arrange for tours in other languages with one of my colleagues who is a native speaker but by default, these tours are conducted in English.
Please note that we avoid visiting Christchurch due to its excessive queues & the thousands of teenage Harry Potter fans that go there.
At extra cost on the day, I could also arrange an additional bike tour or bike hire to permit you to cycle to see the Thames and the Port Meadow & visit one of Morse's favourite countryside pubs.
Likewise, be default, these tours are conducted in English but if you wish to book a tour conducted in a foreign language, I can usually arrange a colleague to help interpret for a surcharge fee of £40 paid in cash on the day.
