Today we are travelling to the east of the island. Our first stop will be at St. Barnabas Monastery. Barnabas is one of the Saints whom started spreading Christianity with St. Paul. Salamis Ruins are also in the program with its Roman baths and theatre. Who built St. Nicholas Cathedral? What did the Ottomans do when they took over Famagusta from Venetians? You will learn all about the history while you get to take photos of this beautiful medieval city. Also you will have a panoramic view of 'Ghost Town' while you listen to its story.
Please do not forget to bring your PASSPORT with you if you are going to cross from
S. Cyprus to N. Cyprus to take this tour.
