The Real African Adventure
Northern Kenya is home to over 20 indigenous groups of people who still practice their authentic traditional cultures and beliefs. Beyond that, the region is considered the most scenic in the country with rolling landscapes and sharply cut rocks and mountains. Most, if not all of its inhabitants are pastoralists who are scarcely distributed over the large area covering almost a third of the country. After Samburu reserve where we will see quite a number of wildlife species, the rest of Northern Kenya will reveal to you unimaginable cultural experiences. We will visit the fishing tribe of El-molo in Loiyangalani, whose life fully depends and revolves Lake Turkana.
The earliest inhabitants have lived here around Lake Turkana, with the early stone age period dating around 2 million years ago being found around Koobi Fora and foot-prints at Ileret. Sibilioi park still hosts some topi, cheetah and zebra populations though it is well known for its sandy beaches, petrified forest and archaeological fossil sites.
