Private Atlanta Architecture Tour

Atlanta's official symbol is the mythical Phoenix - consumed by fire and risen from the ashes. Observe the city's rebirth as we visit Architectural gems that arose in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Some of the stops on your tour will include the 19th century commercial heart of the city, re-purposed cotton mills and industrial sites, an abundance of Victorian homes and Craftsman bungalows, a neighborhood designed by the landscape architect of NYC's Central Park, and a garden cemetery which include a stunning mausoleum with 27 stained glass panels

Some of the stops on your tour will include:

Fairlie-Poplar Historic District - The commercial heart of the city includes architectural styles popular in the late 19th and early 20th century and also contains Atlanta's Flatiron Building, completed 5 years prior to New York's

Inman Park - Atlanta's 1st planned 'suburb' contains a variety of restored Victorian mansions from the late 19th century including a Civil War Colonel, the founder of Coca-Cola, and even a former bordello

Grant Park - Home to the Atlanta's oldest park, it houses the city's largest collection of Victorian homes and Craftsman bungalows and one of the only homes that predates the Civil War

Druid Hills - This neighborhood was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape designer of NYC's Central Park

Westview Abbey - The Mausoleum is the largest of its kind ever built under one roof and includes the stunning Abbey Chapel showcasing 27 stained glass panels
