A full day of nature
Rocky Mountain National Park is the most popular location to visit in Colorado. Locals make up 80% of the day trips into the Park. Join me for the day to find out why.
Each season has much to offer whether it is the autumn colors and rutting elk, or the spring melt and new growth, or the summer wildflowers and grand vistas, or the winter crisp air infused with snow and glaciers. Join me to visit the Park in its many versions. We will talk about animals, plants, ecology, conservation efforts, glaciers and the formation of the mountains.
We will make our way through Boulder to the town of Estes Park, the Gateway of RMNP. In Estes, we will visit the Historic Stanley Hotel, the inspiration for the movie The Shining.
You will be picked up at a Central Denver location or hotel.
We will drive up through Boulder to Estes Park where we will spend some time exploring the Stanley Hotel and quaint downtown area. Upon entering RMNP, we will explore areas of interest, whether it is the scenery, hiking opportunities, animal watching, etc.
Lunch will either be a picnic in the Park or in town, depending on the season.
After a full day, you will be returned to your Denver place of pickup.

Dawn was amazing! She was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and fun to hang out with! She went above and beyond what I expected. The tour of RMNP was beyond amazing. I'd never done a guided tour before. I've been the driver my last several vacations, and so much is missed when you are the driver. Dawn made sure we were able to do exactly what we wanted and made my son and me feel very special. Dawn's private tour was an experience that will be treasured forever. I highly recommend Dawn!
