Salt Lake - Hala Sultan Tekke - Lefkara - Limassol
*Larnaca became the commercial centre of Cyprus in the 18th century AD. The district has many ancient places to visit. Byzantine and Moslem monuments such as Hala Sultan Tekkesi is one of them.
* Lefkara is the village of famous lace work and silver. The narrow streets with stone houses take attraction of the people.
*Limassol, Byzantine and Frankish monuments are found. Today its the island"s main port and centre of wine industry and major tourist resorts. So don't miss this combined program if you have a limited time on the island.
We depart from Nicosia and drive to Salt Lake. This is one of the beautiful lakes on the island. Hala Sultan Tekke is a holly place for Moslems. The history is told while we stop for the visit. We than drive to Lefkara village. Which has been restorated recently and is the village of lace work and silver. We walk along the narrow streets of the village for photographs. We than drive to Limassol. This is where we see the old castle and the narrow streets of the old town.

A wonderful repeat of a tour of 2016, with a different programme as requested. Sirin is very accommodating and pleasant; ready to adjust to any wishes within the timeline. Hope to be back and having another tour with her at some point in time!
