A time travel in the Roman world
Visiting the Archaeological site of Pompeii is an incredible opportunity to see a Roman town still intact. Buried by the ashes of Mount Vesuvius in A. D. 79 and largely forgotten in the course of the history, the town was brought to light centuries later. That's what we are going to see: a place that astonished the world, a place we will discover together walking around its street and visiting the most famous houses and public buildings
This is a unique way to discover how ancient Romans lived before the disaster.
We we'll meet at the train station of Pompeii that is at a very short distance from the entrance of the site. I will be there holding a sign with your name written on it.
The Archaeological site is very huge and during this tour we will see the highlights such as the Theaters, the Forum, at least one private house, the plaster casts and the Thermal Baths. Don't hesitate to ask if you have special requests

The tour by Ilaria was excellent and we were sorry when it ended. She is very knowledgeable and put up with all our interruptions and answered our every one of our questions. Her English is great and easy to understand. Despite the heat, we couldn't believe how fast the time flew by. Since we could only see a small part of the large site, we plan go back in the future to see the rest. It was a worthwhile investment to have a guide and skip the long lines! We highly recommend this amazing tour of Pompei.
