My name is Coreena and I look forward to sharing with you all that I love about where I live, work and play. With so many amazing things to see and do it can be hard to know where to start. . . let me guide you.
It is my vision to share my passion for and knowledge of Tasmania's amazing history, lifestyle and natural environment with visitors from throughout Australia and overseas. Whether you choose one of my published tour itineraries or ask me to help you personalise an itinerary, I will share with you what Tasmania is renowned for, and more, on and off the main tourist trail.
If you are visiting Hobart on a cruise ship, my day tours can be adapted to suit your schedule and short time in port — I will make sure you return to the ship around 45-60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time for timely re-embarkation.
I am a photography enthusiast with a keen interest in nature, wildlife/birds and the outdoors in general, and I'm a proud co-owner of a local photography touring business. I thoroughly enjoy providing discerning visitors to Tasmania with a unique experience - you will travel at a relaxed pace, learn about Tasmania's history, lifestyle and natural environment along the way, and if you wish, you may take advantage of my photographic knowledge and experience to capture some amazing holiday photos too.
As an experienced tour guide I have been fortunate to work in a diversity of travel roles throughout Australia. As a tour director with a 5-star touring company I have escorted many a traveller around Australia (North, South, East & West); as a camping safari cook I have planned & prepared hundreds of meals for students during their travels; and as a camping safari & 4WD driver/guide in Central Australia I have guided travellers of all ages and cultural backgrounds to explore Australia's outback. My experience in the industry includes logistics coordination, itinerary planning, reservations, operations and management of an award-winning tourist attraction. My own travels have taken me to many areas around Australia and overseas, including an adventure to Antarctica.
It's my experiences as both a tourism professional and traveller that you can take advantage of when planning your Tasmanian holiday.
A Recent Review of this guide
Coreena was great with our group of retired seniors. Her recommended tour sites worked out well for us. The Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary was a big hit. Also the group enjoyed our discussions with the owners of the Jolly Farmer's Inn. Coreena is very knowledgeable and we enjoyed her company. I would highly recommend her.
