The Kings century, when Munich became a Metropolitan!

After centuries of being fenced by a wall around the city, the town of Munich began its growth. But that's not the only reason that it didn't take Munich long to become a Metropolitan and one of the most spectacular towns in Germany.

"Paris is a woman, Munich is beer. In my opinion, Munich is better"
(Prince Schtscherbatow; Vienna Congress 1814/15).

This 3 ½ hour tour covers the most spectacular and important sights and buildings from the 1800's. Of course, we'll explain all the details and give you the historical facts. You will also learn, why the second half of the 1800's is responsible for the later development and growth of the radical movement in Bavaria and why A. Hitler became attracted to the town.
Depending on the weather our tour will end at a Beer Place (to recover your "batteries"), or in the downtown area. It is a combined tour. Walking and transportations to get faster from one part of town to the other.
In winter time it's a nice occasion to warm up for a while.
