A unique tradition to the Basque Country. Join me and Joseba, a born and bred up and coming Basque chef, trained in one of the most prestigious Universities in the Basque Country and who's worked in Michelin starred restaurants.
Enjoy an exclusive, authentic and laid-back dinner in a neighbourhood we're almost sure you haven't visited yet and, enjoy a fantastic meal full of traditional flavours and great stories of Basque cuisine, Gastronomic societies and culture!
The Basque Country has a food culture quite unlike anywhere else in Spain - or the world for that matter and these food societies are proof of that.
We'll start the evening with an aperitif at a local bar so you can get a feel for the neighbourhood, and we'll enjoy a local drink.
We'll then head to the Gastronomic Society where Joseba, your chef, awaits to show you the ins&outs of how a society works.
You can only eat at a Gastronomic or food society if you're invited by a member, so let us invite you to this private culinary club to live a real, every day and truly special experience.
We'll enjoy a seasonal dinner created by Joseba and trust me, you're in good hands. He worked at a very well-known restaurant in Barcelona, Torre de Alta Mar, Ametsa, instructed by 3 Michelin starred chef Arzak in London and a Michelin starred restaurant in San Sebastian, Mirador de Ulia. He also worked in classic restaurants in the city, which means he can give you great tips on where to eat and, he won prizes.

Meeting location: I will meet you at the steps to the of ¨La Parroquia Antigua¨ (the Antiguo neighbourhood's parish).
Address: Alfonso XIII Plaza, 1, 20008 Donostia, Gipuzkoa.
End location: We will stay in the same neighbourhood ¨The Antiguo¨.

Available Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays
I meet you on the site. You can walk there, take the local bus (number 5 and 25) or get there by taxi.
A bilingual guide, a private chef, a local aperitif and a pintxo (Basque version of a ¨tapa¨) to start with.
Dinner which includes dishes to share; appetizers, salad or some form of veggies depending on the season, first course, fish course, meat course and dessert.

50 Euros - Any extra food, drinks and transport to the meeting location.
Transport to the site, personal items, additional food and drinks like cocktails, sodas, beer and coffee.
