As a freelance guide for the past 15 years, I have been sharing the mystical island of Jamaica with visitors like you. In 2007, I completed my training and am certified by the Tourism Product Development Company as well as 'Team Jamaica'. Additionally, I am certified by the Jamaica Small Business Association.
I have received training from the U. S Forest Service in Interpretation Skills, which means I can provide information, orientation, and inspiration, so that you will have a more enjoyable, meaningful experience connecting with the wildlife, fauna and flora of this glorious land.
It would be my pleasure to share my knowledge of Maroon/Rastafarian history/heritage with you. I would love to show you the biodiversity in my area, known as Cockpit Country, as well as in Jamaica at large.
The tours I provide are all unique and will be suited to your preferences and can be modified to your location. If you have something specific you'd like to experience, send me an inquiry.
I look forward to hearing from you so we may arrange a tour to show you the beauty of Jamaica, the land of wood and water.

Oh what a pleasure Michael was! He's punctual, flexible, bursting with knowledge of the history of the Maroons, and local herbal remedies which he is eager to share and all the while smiling his big happy smile. Thank you Michael for an incredible day which you topped off with a fish fry on the beach with some local fishermen ... you've gotta be da best! Will certainly recommend Michael G to others.
