"Time goes slower in Pai. " Once you have enough explored Chiangmai which fully enjoyed with the beauty of nature, temples, elephant interaction. Pai is a secret hotspot for travellers to the Northof Thailand who seek for the quiet corner for easy and relaxing for a long time. It is now increased more tourism and not such an unknown destination any more. It is especially famous for its relaxed atmosphere, unique drive with mountain view and bohemian lifestyle.

To go from Chiangmai-Pai takes around 3. 5 hrs. by self-driving over windy mountain road, which is beautiful mountain scenery and the city is surrounded by many natural attractions.

It is definitely recommended for anyone who likes to explore authentic Thai villages, uncrowded waterfalls, limestone cave and just enjoys wilderness. Therefore, it's perfect to explore by boot in town or drive out farther to the different places.

Itinerary

Day1
Depart from Chiangmai at 08:00. Visit Mok Fah waterfall for a short hiking to the spectacular waterfall about 180 ft. falling from the stone cliff. Check-in at the resort in the afternoon having some easy time. In the afternoon, set out for the city view point Phrathat Mae Yen temple. Kho Ku So Bamboo Bridge and beautiful sunset at Pai canyon. Have a nice relaxation in the evening or go out for night market.

Day2
Drive out further to Thailand's most impressive cave adventure "Tham Lod". Prepare yourself for hiking and climbing in the massive limestone cave system with stunning stalagmites and stalactites and freshwater stream running through that we need to take bamboo raft to the deeper zone where there is only light from burning torch make the exploration even more mysterious atmosphere.
Back to Pai city to have some relaxation at Pai hotspring and/or visiting Santichon Chinese village.

Day3
Drive back to Chiangmai. On the way, we can stop at several scenic spots to complete your trip in Chiangmai

Meeting Point + Tour Duration

Meeting Point Options: Rail or Bus Station, Airport, Hotel, Suggested by Guide: The trip usually meet at the hotel lobby and good to start at 8 a.m. so that we would arrive at Pai around 2 p.m.

The trip take long driving along the difficult windy road for at least 3.5 hours to there. It might take longer time for having some breaks along the way.
